Well, to get really geeky they did sort of retcon in Klingons with ridges in the Enterprise series which was before TOS in time.  So it's possible you could have the TOS guys meet up with some Klingons with ridges.  That plus the little blue box time machine should help too!  ;)

Lol I was thinking, that the Tardis could easily have the Enterprise inside it so he could have gone in the future with the TOS crew.

Could you imagine though a cool episode of Dr Who where you see the enterprise in the background or actually land on a ship that looks like a TNG corridor. Droooooool
