Well I sat open mouthed in silence eyes locked on the screen in absolute ore. This was bottom spanking bloody brilliant.

Agreed.  Great episode!  So, why doesn't the Doctor ever go and visit all those cool areas of the TARDIS?  I'd never leave that library room.  :)

Found this cool series 7 poster online.

Very cool episode. I've wanted to see something like this since I started watching the newer shows, and now that I've been buying the older ones on DVD ( with some texted assistance from Meds) I appreciate nods to what came before and expansions of the mythology.

I honestly didn't know it would become an obsession even I started watching this show.

Well, I finally took the plunge. Watched my very first episode EVER of Dr Who yesterday--the first one on Netflix (2005) with the mannequins. Kinda silly episode but I am intrigued. I'd already heard that it was going to be a corny episode so I wasn't put off, just enjoyed it. Not sure if I'll go try going straight through that season or jump around.

ChrisMC

I'd say at least go through the first season to get the gist.

I'd say go for the first proper season 1963 era

I'd totally do that if it was on Netflix!

You can get alot of classic Who on Netflix. It's listed as Classic Doctor Who. It's not comprehensive but there us a bunch.
