billybob476

I like how Defying Gravity is both on the "cancelled" and "new shows" list.

Feathers

I hadn't heard anything formally on Doctor Who. Good news (although still a bit shocking to realise it needs a renewal. I'd always assumed it was they that told the BBC whether they were doing more or not.)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Captain BJ Wanlund

Hey Rico, Castle got renewed for a 3rd.  I was pretty doggone happy to hear that, as I'm pretty hooked on the show.

BJ
Love Star Trek TOS & TNG (never really got into DS9, Voyager, or Enterprise).  Also love Star Wars (everything save for the prequels...), and Indiana Jones, and ElfQuest, basically anything remotely SF or fantasy is my bag, tho I tend more towards SF than I do fantasy.

BJ

Yep - it's a great show and been doing pretty well in the ratings too.

Ktrek

I see NCIS - LA listed but what about the original show? The LA version is OK but the original series cast is far better.

Kevin
"Oh...Well, Who am I to argue with me?" Dr. Bashir - Visionary - Deep Space Nine

ElfManDan

I don't see Chuck on the list at all. I know I'm definitely hoping for a season 4.

Rico

I don't think a decision has been made about "Chuck" yet - but I'm hopeful.

ElfManDan

I've heard Chuck has a good chance this time around, but I'm still desperately waiting on the news. If I could only pick one show to come back it would be Chuck.

Rico

I'll tell you what, I think I'd rather see "Chuck" come back more than "Heroes."  And actually I think it has a better chance too.

Rico

Found a new updated listing here, but can't seem to copy/paste it with this old IE 6 browser at work.  If anyone else can grab it and paste it into this thread, please do so.

I'll get that for you Rico.

"Dollhouse" and "24" both gone still makes me sad.  :(

ElfManDan

I've never watched 24, but definitively agreed on Dollhouse. Really glad to see Fringe is gonna be returning.

Little update on things:

ABC....

Renewed:
Brothers & Sisters ... Will be back, but without Rob Lowe.
Castle ... Sophomore charmer returns for Season 3.
Cougar Town ... For better or worse, it has its fans!
The Middle ... A solid component of ABC's new comedy block.
Modern Family ... ABC's comedy savior; should be around for awhile.

Canceled
Eastwick ... Canceled in November, seven episodes in.
Hank ... Yanked in November; never stood a chance.
Lost ... Ending on its own terms.
Ugly Betty ... Honorably discharged.

Limbo
Better Off Ted ... Needs a miracle to return.
The Deep End ... Just not officially canceled yet.
Desperate Housewives ... Barring any fallout from the Cherry-slap lawsuit, the ladies of Wisteria Lane are likely to return.
FlashForward ... Flash-forward to May: Probably canceled. In Lost's absence, it's up against V.
Grey's Anatomy ... Should be back for more hot doctor-on-doctor action.
Happy Town ... Way too early to tell.
Private Practice ... Should be back for more hot doctor-on-doctor action.
Romantically Challenged ... Too soon to tell, but early numbers did not impress.
Scrubs ... Almost certainly flat-lined.
V ... Presumed to be battling FlashForward for one remaining spot.

CBS....

Renewed
The Amazing Race ... Will this show ever go off the air?
The Big Bang Theory ... Renewed through next season a year ago as part of deal.
The Good Wife ... CBS' new drama darling.
How I Met Your Mother ... No longer a perennial bubble show.
NCIS: Los Angeles ... The least surprising renewal of a new show, ever.
Survivor ... As long as people still want to survive things, this will remain on the air.
Two and a Half Men ... Renewed, but will Charlie Sheen derail the show if he departs?
Undercover Boss ... This season's biggest new hit.

Canceled
Three Rivers .. Maybe Alex O'Loughlin can do wrong; he's now 0-for-2 on CBS (his previous miss: Moonlight).

Limbo
Accidentally on Purpose ... One of several CBS comedies trying for few spots.
Cold Case ... Future uncertain.
Criminal Minds ... Should be back no problem.
CSI ... CBS just needs to make its renewal official.
CSI: Miami ... Just need to make it official!
CSI: New York ... CBS, will you make these renewals official already?
Gary Unmarried ... See Accidentally on Purpose.
Ghost Whisperer ... Performing okay on Fridays, and pairs nicely with Medium.
Medium ... Future uncertain; will it be a one-season rental?
The Mentalist ... Practically guaranteed to be back. I'll bet $50 on it.
Miami Medical ... We're guessing it's a goner.
NCIS ... Automatic return unless CBS makes the biggest mistake in broadcasting history.
The New Adventures of Old Christine ... See Gary Unmarried.
Numb3rs ... Reportedly already finished.
Rules of Engagement ... Future uncertain, but it's a cheap, established multi-camera comedy, so...

NBC....

Renewed
30 Rock ... As long as there are comedy awards to win, it'll be back.
The Apprentice ... Hmph.
The Biggest Loser ... NBC's success weighs heavily on this one.
Community ... My favorite new comedy is streets ahead of the others.
Friday Night Lights ... Final season coming up, premiering in the fall on DirecTV first.
The Marriage Ref ... Yes, it's coming back.
Minute to Win It ... What a sad statement about society.
The Office ... But whether it return after that is unknown.
Parenthood ... A good renewal for NBC.
Parks and Recreation ... Picks up some star power with Rob Lowe next year.
The Sing-Off ... Sure, whatever.
Who Do You Think You Are? ... We can never know our celebs well enough.

Canceled
The Jay Leno Show ... Dead horse.

Limbo
Chuck ... It's prospects going back and forth; we're guessing it returns.
Heroes ... Rumored to get a 13-episode final season.
Law & Order ... Like the old man you just can't put in a nursing home.
Law & Order: SVU ... Has a better chance at returning than it's regular flavor.
Mercy
 ... NBC will have none.
Trauma ... Too expensive to keep around, right?

FOX....

Renewed
American Dad! ... Two words: Seth MacFarlane.
American Idol ... Renewal questions get interesting once Simon Cowell leaves.
Bones ... No question here, it's back baby!
The Cleveland Show ... Two words: Seth MacFarlane.
Family Guy ... Two words: Seth MacFarlane.
Fringe ... Things were looking scary for a while there, but Fox made the right decision.
Glee ... This could be the beginning of a long, long run. Or a quick, quick fizzle out.
Hell's Kitchen ... Not sure why, but it'll be back.
Kitchen Nightmares ... Didn't I just write a blurb for this show?
The Simpsons ... May outlive me.

Canceled
24 ... Mutual breakup.
Brothers ... How this even made it on the air to be canceled in the first place, we'll never know.
Dollhouse ... You can't spell Whedon without D-O-N-E. Kidding, kidding.
Our Little Genius ... Cheaters never win.
Past Life ... Currently dead.
'Til Death ... So we can part now, right?

Limbo
House ... There's already a storyline planned for next season, so it'll be back.
Human Target ... Fighting for its life.
Lie to Me ... Okay, you are definitely getting renewed.
Sons of Tucson ... Think of it as the show that got Tyler Labine to his next project quickly. No shot at returning.

CW....

Renewed
90210 ... Coming back for junior year.
America's Next Top Model ... This show will never die.
Gossip Girl ... Maybe it doesn't have the sizzle it used to, but it's coming back anyway.
Smallville ... Defying the odds with a tenth season.
Supernatural ... Will be back, but without show creator and showrunner Eric Kripke.
The Vampire Diaries ... The network's easiest renewal decision.

Canceled
The Beautiful Life ... Ha ha, Ashton Kutcher.

Limbo
Life Unexpected ... Fighting with One Tree Hill for the network's last spot.
Melrose Place ... Shouldn't be back. Please don't let it come back.
One Tree Hill ... Fighting with Life Unexpected for the network's last spot.

P.S.  I have read just recently that "Legend of Seeker" is now officially canceled (makes me sad).
