Looking through the previous posts I noticed there wasnt a topic for the Games Workshop selections of sci-fi books and comics. Games Workshop are big in the UK and specialise in table top gaming. Podcast screaming out here Rico!
The Horus Heresy series of books are right up there with some of the best sci- fi writing around, so I thought Id share it with you.

Heres a synopsis from the back of the book
Horus Rising- It is the 31st millennium. Under the benevolent leadership of the Immortal Emperor the Imperium of Man has stretched out across the galaxy. It is a golden age of discovery and conquest.
But now, on the eve of victory, the Emperor leaves the front lines, entrusting the great crusade to his favourite son, Horus. Promoted to Warmaster, can the idealistic Horus carry out the Emperors grand plan, or will this promotion sow the seeds of heresy among his brothers?

Great series like I said, full of space marines and cool sci fi stuff :)
In life all you need to be happy is a roof over your head, a bottle of wine and a good episode of Star Trek....everything else is a bonus.

My kids got into this a little bit for a short time.  We have had people talking about a gaming podcast, either about Trek games or others but it's never quite come together.  But I'm always welcome to having a guest host tackle a game related subject sometime.  hint, hint...  ;)

I played many trek games from the very bad to the very very bad but i think the best was "star trek elite force" and "Super Star Trek "
was also cool has for the worst "star trek conquest" on the wii.

I think it would be an interesting topic for a pod casted.

The only warhammer games I know are on the PC "dawn of war"
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and a lot of bitching."
