Just listening to the first episode now and really enjoying it! You forgot Gary Burghoff was also in the movie. I was thinking about the relationship between Radar and Henry Blake and although I can see the father and son angle, I always looked at Radar as being Blake's caretaker. Henry didn't want to be in command, he was indecisive, usually deferred to Hawkeye and Trapper, and really just wanted to go fly fishing all day. Radar was his gal Friday, keeping him on track and the camp running. I hadn't thought of that relationship in so long!

Bryan, yeah, I always enjoyed the relationship between Henry and Radar. Yeah, I can see the caretaker role, but maybe more like the eldest son caring for his slightly senile father! :) Thanks for listening!!

Gotta love Frank, the Bible reading adulterer!

LOL we didnt forget Gary dont worry. We have only mentioned the ones as guest casts so far. Gary will have either hos own mini cast or we will talk about the main cast as we go on.

Great points Bry.

Really looking forward to maybe a discussion of a point that was touched upon in the first 2 shows. Is MASH a comedy show or satire? Certainly the Altman film was pure satire. How did the series try and blend the comedic with that underlying premise? I think I feel an audio comment coming... :)

I think that sounds like a great topic for a minicast.. Thanks for the suggestion.. I'll add it to our growing list :) And we would love comments.
