6-8 weeks is pretty standard for a bone fracture or break.

I'm so sorry to hear the story but pleased your nose and face are still in one piece. It probably feels pretty bad right now but you've been saved from a whole lot more serious damage that could have happened.

yes, I am grateful it wasn't much worse.  this typing with one hand sucks though.

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes.  i was able to do a couple of auditions this morning because i can use one hand.  and my voice is fine!
