Podcast # 262 – No Agenda – 1001.17

Well, this weekend I have a different kind of podcast for you.  I am recording it in my hotel room in Rockford, IL.  I stayed over here this weekend due to my new job.  I had planned on trying to do the “Fellowship of the Ring” podcast anyway, but I was having trouble getting the audio clips and things I wanted to use, so that is postponed until next weekend.  Instead, I do a sort of acoustic, casual type of podcast this time.  I fill everyone in on my job and how that’s been going.  I also talk some Trek and other geek topics too!

The show begins with a job update for all of you.  Things seem good so far.  Starting to get used to things, the company, and the people.  So far, so good.  I also share some recent Trek stories too and talk a little about Sci-Fi on TV.  It’s been hard to keep up on all the shows this past week – but I’m managing.  I do want to pass on a LINK for UNICEF donations to help the relief effort in Haiti.  The earthquake was devastating and they could use whatever small amount you can send in.  I don’t usually talk about things like this, but I kind of felt like doing something this time.

That about wraps up the show gang.  If all goes well, about next weekend you should be getting the podcast covering the first LOTR film.  Always check the main web page for updates.  Take care and have a great week!  Thanks for listening!

What a lovely peacefull setting! One good spot for the new kid on the block job, learning and settling in curve.starting a new job is never easy. But have faith in yourself more inportant, trust in God . It is all good. As for the Haiti tragedy today a young woman trapped for 15 days was rescued! Someone upstairs was watching over her. As trekkies and children of God we must have caring and compassion for others. To reach out and help those less fortunate.is good you did talk about this. Blessings for you and your family
