Podcast # 227 – Movie Skype Chat – 0905.17

This weekend on the podcast I got together with several friends of the show and forum members to chat over Skype all about the new “Star Trek” film.  This continues our coverage of this blockbuster hit and all around great Trek film.  Again, keep in mind if you happen to be someone who hasn’t caught the movie yet (and why not?), this podcast will contain spoilers for you.  We go over the movie in quite a few areas and bring up some fun and interesting things too.  Everyone is able to get their thoughts and opinions in and even with a total of eleven of us on the call at the same time, it stayed very collected and easy to follow.  We go over things like why the movie seems to be such a big hit – especially with non-Trek fans.  We cover some of our favorite and not so favorite moments too as well as some things we might have liked to have seen covered in the movie more.  I want to give a big thanks to:  Angela, Jen, Katrin, Dan, Joe, Meds, Chris, Mike, Tim, and Rick for joining me on the call today.  It was great having a nice mix of voices you have heard before and some less heard ones too.  Thanks very much everyone for taking some time out of your busy lives for the call.  Next week I will be doing another vidcast covering the recent Motor City Comic Con that I went to yesterday.  Should be fun!  Talk to you all next week.
