This week on the podcast I do a classic show for all of you. \u00a0First up it’s some news and Trek talk for the last few weeks. \u00a0Lots of info is coming out now on the new Trek film for 2013 and I am trying to keep up with all the facts, rumors, and scuttlebutt around the Net. \u00a0I pass on a few stories for you and share some of my thoughts and guesses as we get into this new year. \u00a0I talk some about the excellent TOS 15 CD music set I got for Christmas. \u00a0This set is packed with awesomeness and every fan of Trek music should pick up a copy HERE<\/a> when they can. \u00a0It’s a limited edition set and I urge everyone to seriously consider picking this up. \u00a0I’ve barely scratched the surface of this set so far, but I am loving what I have heard.<\/p>\n The main topic for this week is the 4th season Enterprise episode, “Babel One.”<\/a> \u00a0This is a cool episode featuring some of the founding members of the Federation and a real gem for fans of TOS like me and others. \u00a0It’s starts out with the Andorian Shran’s ship under attack and gets more intriguing as the episode goes on. \u00a0I do a full commentary for you as I watch the episode again. \u00a0It kind of ends in a cliffhanger a little bit since this episode was part of a series of connected episodes in the 4th season. \u00a0But I think it’s enjoyable on it’s own too. \u00a0I’ll try to cover the follow up episodes on a future podcast.<\/p>\n I wrap up this week’s podcast with a quick look at my new collectible statue from Sideshow Toys. \u00a0It’s a statue of Faith from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” \u00a0It’s extremely lifelike and very well done. \u00a0I’ve been wanting this one for awhile and finally had the chance to pick one up for myself. \u00a0It’s actually still available and you can check it out yourself and order one if you want right HERE<\/a> direct from Sideshow. \u00a0Check out the link for more pictures of this great statue too. \u00a0That’s about it for this week folks. \u00a0Vartok will be here next week with another musical show with a look at the music of Jerry Goldsmith. \u00a0Take care until then and enjoy your week ahead.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/www.treksinscifi.com\/images\/faith11.jpg\")
