This week Joe from the “Upper Memory Block Podcast”<\/a> covers a fun film from 1989 called “Robot Jox.”<\/a> \u00a0This movie involves giant fighting robots – who doesn’t love that? \u00a0I’ll let Joe pass on a few words about his guest spot for this week on TSF.<\/p>\n Hey all! Joe aka billybob476 here once again in the guest hosting seat. This time, I’m covering one of my guilty pleasure movies from 1990, Robot Jox.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\nFirst though, I cover a few news items:<\/em><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n1. The pending releases of Star Wars episodes 2 and 3 have been indefinitely postponed:\u00a0http:\/\/starwars.\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n2. The TNG season 3 blu ray set is scheduled to come out in April of this year. Not only that, but it looks like we’ll be getting a standalone feature length edit of The Best of Both Worlds at the same time!<\/em><\/div>\nhttp:\/\/tng.trekcore.com\/\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\nNext I do a review of a really cool album called Smooth Federation by Andrew Allen. It’s a full CD of Trek-inspired jazz tunes. It has cool covers of all the Trek show themes and more. I cover some facts about the movie and get into the, shall we say, mediocre plot.
