This week on the podcast I look at this fourth season DS9 episode with a full commentary as I watch it. \u00a0We have a great & cool new intro for the podcast this week put together by my friend Rick Moyer. \u00a0Learn more about Rick’s many projects and work HERE<\/a>. \u00a0First off, I discuss a couple of new movies I have seen lately in the theaters. \u00a0I give a spoiler free discussion on “This is the End” and also “World War Z.” \u00a0I saw both of these films recently and enjoyed them both. \u00a0They are very different types of movies, but both pretty good. \u00a0Then I move on to some Trek topics of discussion. \u00a0The “Into Darkness” film has been doing pretty well at the box office<\/a>. \u00a0This is definitely a film that can be enjoyed quite a bit on repeat viewings (I have seen it three times so far now). \u00a0Also, there is a cool new collectible you can get from a company will put your face on a “Star Trek” action figure. \u00a0Click HERE<\/a> for all the details on this neat collectible idea. \u00a0Also, our friend Larry Nemecek has a new book of Trek maps coming out this December that looks great called, “Stellar Cartography.” \u00a0Order your copy HERE<\/a> right now. \u00a0Then it’s on to the main topic for this week, the DS9 episode.<\/p>\n The episode, “Indiscretion”<\/a> is a great look at two of my favorite DS9 characters – Kira and Dukat. \u00a0They are off on a mission together to look for survivors from a missing crashed ship. \u00a0This episode is directed by Levar Burton and is an excellent showcase and character study for both Kira and Dukat. \u00a0There is some cool location shooting too and a nice little side story involving Sisko and Cassidy. \u00a0Overall, I like this one a lot and share some thoughts as I play the episode. \u00a0A nice episode to cover on the podcast. \u00a0That’s about it for this time out. \u00a0Next week, I will actually be back again with guest Chris and Chuck as we look at the 1982 “Conan the Barbarian”<\/a> film and other Conan related topics. \u00a0Take care until then and enjoy your week ahead.<\/p>\n
