A classic style show once again with a look at the TNG episode called “The Price”<\/a> along with some other geek topics and news. \u00a0I start off the show this week discussing two recent movies I have seen. \u00a0The first was “Pacific Rim”<\/a> which is a giant robot, battletech-style film fighting monsters from the deep. \u00a0I thought the movie was fun, but I found a few too many cliche’s in the film for it to really be a great movie. \u00a0The other film I enjoyed a bit more called, “R.I.P.D.”<\/a> which is a fun movie about dead lawmen who have to come back down to Earth to capture the worst of the dead that have escaped back to Earth. \u00a0Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds made a good team and the movie is a lot of fun. \u00a0I also cover some of the recent Comic Con news coming out of San Diego this weekend. \u00a0It looks like in the next Superman film, Batman will be making an appearance. \u00a0Also, the next Avengers movies has an official title, “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” \u00a0There is a lot of video over on Youtube<\/a> of the various new trailers, panels and so forth from the Con – check it out! \u00a0And I discuss the upcoming video release of “Star Trek Into Darkness” and a few other Trek topics too.<\/p>\n Then I move on to discussing the Trek episode for this cast called “The Price.” \u00a0This season three episode is basically a love story for Deanna Troi along with a secondary story about the rights to a stable wormhole. \u00a0I like this one and we get to see Troi not acting quite like her normal self too. \u00a0This episode also sets up several things in Trek lore like the 4 quadrants to the galaxy along with travel by wormhole. \u00a0I play the episode and comment as I watch it for you.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/www.treksinscifi.com\/images\/conansword1.jpg\")
