This week, it’s a special, scary & spooky Halloween edition of the podcast. \u00a0I cover the 1992 cult classic, “Army of Darkness.”<\/a> \u00a0This is a great movie – both scary and funny at the same time. \u00a0I also cover the usual news and geek happenings too. \u00a0I start the show with a cool, scary intro from Vartok – thanks much for that Mr. V. \u00a0Then I move on to cover some Trek news. \u00a0Larry Nemecek has a new CD out from his “Trekland” series all about the final episode of TNG and audio discussions with some of the key players at the time. \u00a0Get your copy preordered HERE<\/a> soon. \u00a0There are also still rumors swirling of a new Trek series, but I still feel it’s couple years away – at least. \u00a0In other geeky news, JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan have taken over script duties from Michael Arndt on Episode 7. \u00a0Who knows how long this might delay the film. \u00a0I’m still wondering if they can hit a summer, 2015 release date. \u00a0Also, there is still some time to order your podcast, TSF polo shirt. \u00a0Order deadline is now extended until October 31. \u00a0Order yours HERE<\/a> right now!<\/p>\n The “Army of Darkness” movie is the third in the original “Evil Dead” movie trilogy. \u00a0It features Bruce Campbell back as the resourceful Ash once again and takes him to medieval times. \u00a0This is a fun, scary, and very cool movie. \u00a0Bruce is perfect again as the irreverent Ash character and there is a lot to enjoy about this campy, horror film. \u00a0Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell have also recently announced that they are doing a sequel to this movie, so it makes this podcast timing perfect. \u00a0One interesting thing about this film is there are two, pretty different endings. \u00a0I discuss both of them on the podcast and play quite a few audio clips too. \u00a0Hope you enjoy my look at this great movie.<\/p>\n That’s about all for this week gang. \u00a0I hope everyone has a great Halloween later this week. \u00a0I’m prepping my costume for Austin Comic Con<\/a> and we are now less than a month away from my big trip there. \u00a0Next week, guest hosts Jeff, Bryan, Rick, and Joe will be here to talk all about “Star Wars” Ships in their continuing series covering the ships of Sci-Fi. \u00a0Come back then to here all the fun. \u00a0Take care and enjoy the fun week ahead!<\/p>\n
