This week it’s back to a classic style show with a look at a DS9 episode and recent geek news. \u00a0First up, I comment about the latest talk going on related to both “Star Wars” and Trek. \u00a0It looks like two new, young writers have joined in to script the next Trek film (hopefully to come out in 2016 for the 50th anniversary of Trek). \u00a0I think we are all hoping for a completely original story this time out – and who knows, maybe a new TV series at some point too. \u00a0Of course, Episode 7 for SW is moving along and they are constructing a full-size, complete Millennium Falcon vessel for this film (can’t wait to see that). \u00a0Casting continues to roll on for this film which should start full production in a few months. \u00a0On TV, I’m really enjoying the series “Arrow” and the new series, “Almost Human.” \u00a0Two very good shows and you should give them a try if you haven’t yet. \u00a0Then on move on to the Trek episode.<\/p>\n

The fifth season DS9 episode, “By Inferno’s Light”<\/a> is covered this time, with a full commentary as I watch it with you. \u00a0This is actually the second part of a two-part tale that involves the war with the Dominion and some captured crew off DS9. \u00a0Garak gets to shine in this episode and Worf has some good stuff to do too. \u00a0The later seasons of DS9 were really great and this is a solid episode to cover and fun to watch again. \u00a0That pretty much wrapped up the cast for this time out. \u00a0Next week, Chris & Meds will be here with a look at the 50th Anniversary special episode of “Doctor Who” for all of you to enjoy. \u00a0There will also be a special Skype cast on December 14th at 7pm eastern time to get us in the Trek-Mas spirit (hope you can join us). \u00a0Until next time take care and enjoy your holiday shopping!<\/p>\n
