This week it’s a classic style show with a look at the DS9 episode from season 7 called, “When it Rains…”<\/a> \u00a0I start off the podcast talking about my recent trip to Mexico for work. \u00a0I had a nice time there and the people and food were great. \u00a0Then I move on to talking “Star Trek” and some news stories related to the next film and it seems a director has been picked – full speed ahead to 2016! \u00a0And of course, Episode VII for “Star Wars” has started filming and we are getting some pictures and little tidbits out of the JJ Abrams secrecy camp. \u00a0Hard to know sometimes what to really believe – but it certainly all is exciting! \u00a0Then moving on to this week’s episode of Trek that I covered.<\/p>\n

This episode of DS9 called, “When it Rains…” is from near the end of season 7 for the series and was directed by Michael Dorn too. \u00a0A lot is going on in this episode but it’s fun to see all these great characters and watch it again. \u00a0It makes me miss having a new Trek episode on TV each week (or even two new episodes like we had for a little while). \u00a0This is an episode that involves almost all of the major cast and some guest actors too. \u00a0The main story involves sending Kira off to teach the resistance Cardassian’s how to work and take on the Dominion and some of their old friends still working for them. \u00a0It’s a good episode with a lot of interesting threads coming together.<\/p>\n

That wraps things up for this week. \u00a0Next week the Ricardo family will be back to guest host and will be covering the 70’s TV series called, “UFO.” \u00a0That should be a lot of fun. \u00a0Take care and enjoy your week ahead everyone!<\/p>\n
