A classic style podcast this week involving kind of a time travel theme. \u00a0I start off the show giving a brief, spoiler-free review of the new time travel movie, “Project Almanac.”<\/a> \u00a0I also talk about the recent TV I’ve been enjoying and how great some of the stuff on the air is these days. \u00a0And I talk about the future of Trek as it relates to the recent movie announcements and the potential for a new series. \u00a0Lots of geek news to discuss and cover and then it’s on to the main topic for the week which is the first season Voyager episode called, “Time and Again.”<\/a> \u00a0Read on below for more on that topic.<\/p>\n It was a lot of fun watching this early Voyager episode again considering it first aired almost exactly 20 years ago to the day. \u00a0This episode involves time travel and how Janeway & Paris are stuck in the past on a planet that is doomed to destroy itself. \u00a0It’s filled with some good moments and some interesting paradoxes too. \u00a0I like episodes like this one and I think it had a lot of good things in it for such an early episode of the series. \u00a0I do a commentary while I play the episode for all of you to listen along with too. \u00a0Then I wrap up the podcast going over what is coming up in the next few weeks. \u00a0Next weekend Mark will be here with a look at the classic SF movie, “Robinson Crusoe on Mars.” \u00a0Until then, enjoy your week ahead and take care out there.<\/p>\n
