This week I talk almost all about Trek and focus on a couple things. \u00a0The main show is my review and comments on “The Roddenberry Vault”<\/a> 3-disc set. \u00a0I also bring everyone up to speed on the latest about “Star Trek: Discovery.”<\/a>\u00a0 I first talk a little about my recent work travel and cover some of my favorite recent TV and some movies I have seen (I’m especially enjoying the time travel new series called “Timeless”). \u00a0Then I move on to talk about the Vault. \u00a0It’s pretty cool to see new little clips and snippets from TOS after over 50 years since it aired. \u00a0The three disc set most is made up of 12 episodes they focus on and comments from various Trek experts and some who worked on the original series. \u00a0Some nice documentaries and the clips are great to see. \u00a0I do wish they had been a bit more extra footage show and feel the set is a little padded with the 12 episodes included. \u00a0While that was nice to have, most of us have these episodes already on various formats. \u00a0For a TOS fan this is a must buy.<\/p>\n I wrap up the podcast with a round up of the cast and news we know about the new “Discovery” series. \u00a0The show has been delayed once again to an unknown time (my guess is fall to late 2017). \u00a0I’m excited by the idea of new Trek and looking forward to learning more about the series. \u00a0They certainly have a very diverse cast selected. \u00a0That’s about it for this week. \u00a0Next week Rick Moyer will be here to cover the TNG episode called “The Pegasus.” \u00a0Until next time take care and be careful out there.<\/p>\n\n
