This week on the podcast I rundown most of the summer movies I saw the past few months and share my thoughts on them. First, I talk a little about my new TV hardware purchase and how I finally have made the leap to 4K viewing for my home theater. It’s pretty cool and exciting and I’m really looking forward to watching the new Trek series this way. Then it’s on to the movie talk.<\/p>\n
I go over about 8-10 films or so that I saw over the summer. Most of them were really good and did well at the box office too. From the usual comic book movie fare to some non-Sci-Fi films I enjoyed too – I cover a lot of ground and give you my thoughts. I’ve talked about some of these before, but this is a look at the summer films all at once. Hope you enjoy my comments and maybe it will make you excited to check some of these out that you might have missed.<\/p>\n
I finish off the podcast talking about next weekend’s 12 Anniversary podcast for Treks in Sci-Fi. I started it way back in 2005 when Trek had gone off the air. Now, it’s 12 long years later and I’m still podcasting and Trek is coming back! Exciting times. The LIVE anniversary show will be on Sunday, Sept. 3rd at probably 2pm eastern daylight time.
