This week our musical expert Vartok is back with another great show with a look at the music of composer John Powell<\/a>. Here are some word from Vartok on his latest musical extravaganza.<\/p>\n Featured in this guest podcast by Vartok is the Music of A-List composer John Powell, British Composer, Conductor, and Producer. John has been active since 1989 with his first television composing job for Stay Lucky in the UK. Since 1997 he has been located in Los Angeles and part of the Hollywood scene since. He was a member of Hans Zimmer\u2019s Remote Control Productions for several years before heading out on his own. Today John has over 75 credits on the IMDB and has won 10 ASCAP, 4 Annie, and 4 IFMA Awards for his scores, with numerous other award nominations including one Grammy and one Academy award.
