Well, 30 years ago today “Star Trek – The Motion Picture” premiered in theaters.  While maybe not the best of the Trek films, this movie still did pave the way not only for more movies in the series but really for all the TV shows too.  Without TMP, “Star Trek” may have really ended decades ago and we would never have gotten anymore.
