Ok, I decided to offer podcasts # 0 – 200 of “Treks in Sci-Fi” in a nice DVD set for anyone that would like to have them all collected together. This will be a two DVD set in a nice case, with a cool cover and a special little video on it created just for this DVD set (which won’t be seen anywhere else). Well, it’s my birthday (and my wife’s next week) so I’m celebrating a little today.  It’s nice to have a birthday on the weekend.  Not any big plans really today.  And as Indiana Jones says, “It’s not the years it’s the mileage!”

Hope everyone had a great Halloween.  It was unusally warm at my house and we got lots of kids.  I tried to scare them in my Jedi outfit, but most thought I just looked “cool!”

Putting out the word about a month early.  Podcast #200 approaches and to celebrate I am going to do another fun video podcast.  What I want from the fans of the podcast to do is to create a little video of a scene from any Trek TV series or film.  You get to act out one of your favorite moments!  It can be very short or up to 5 minutes long and can be as elaborate as you want.  Due date for these is November 21st.  So get out those cameras out and start having fun!

There will be a group Skype call on October 4th at 2pm EDT discussing the latest Sci-Fi on TV and at the movies.  We will be chatting for about an hour about all our favorite returning shows like “Heroes” and new series like “The Clone Wars” cartoon.  If you would like to join in for this (which will be recorded for the next podcast) be on Skype at the above time and I will add you to the conference call.  My user ID on Skype is:  treksf

Here’s the rough plan for the schedule of upcoming podcasts I have in mind right now.  I’m trying to get ahead a little and plan things out a bit more.  Hopefully there are some things on this list that are of interest to all of you out there that listen.  As always, plans are subject to change but I think this list will be pretty close to what I end up doing.  If you want to send in any audio comments on any of the below topics please feel free.  always looking for new submissions for the show.
