The midweek show starts my looking at the Trek animated DVD’s – just out now!

For a shorter podcast for the middle of the week I delve into the Star Trek animated series. Always sort of the forgotten cousin in the Trek universe. The 4 disc DVD set is out now and they did a nice job on it. It has some cool extra features and the episodes look and sound great! You can buy the set at a great price now HERE.
The majority of the podcast is covered by doing a full episode commentary on the animated show, “Yesteryear.” This is a great story that shows us a lot about what Spock was like growing up on Vulcan. We get to learn a lot about how hard it was for him when he was younger, being half human on a planet of logical Vulcans. I really love this episode and have a soft spot for Spock’s pet Sehlat.
It was fun looking back at this episode and great to see it again. I’m looking forward to covering more animated series episodes over the coming months. Might make it a pretty regular feature on the midweek show. Along with a few surprises from time to time.
