Voyager and the Episode “Faces” for show #97

Creeping up to show #100, but first we have a great cast featuring a really good “Voyager” episode.

I first play a new theme tune for the show sent in by Rick & Nathan Moyer – really cool – thanks guys. It’s now high time for another “Star Trek: Voyager” episode for the podcast. First I go over some new TREK movie news and have some listener audio. The audio leads me to a discussion about doing sort of a Mystery Science Theater 3000 special episode of the podcast (more on this soon). Then it’s on to the main topic – the episode “Faces.”
This is a great episode from the first season of “Voyager” and a real stand out performance by Roxann Dawson as B’Elanna.

This episode was a lot of fun to watch once again and I do a full episode commentary for it. Roxann does a great job in the classic duel role type of job as seen in other TV shows – even Trek. It’s real interesting to see how she plays a fully Klingon and a fully human B’Elanna. Some great stuff in the show and it has a good message about being who you are and accepting it. Kudo’s to the writers and cast on this one. Right after the episode I play a father & son short review of the show by Rick and Nathan. Great and funny stuff guys – send more of these in!
The we have a guest collectible review by Jeff (Jedijeff) from the forums. He gives us a very detailed review of the Master Replicas Darth Vader Lightsaber from Episode 6.
