This week on the podcast I cover the animated “Justice League” tv series (and “Justice League Unlimited”). First, I chat a bit about a couple recent movies I’ve seen. I talk about “The Phantom Menace” in 3D and also “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” too. I saw both and pretty much enjoyed them (although I found the 3D lacking in TPM). Then I talk some about the recent pics from the next Trek movie set (see them HERE). I think they look pretty cool and I’m happy to finally have some images to talk about. Then, it’s on to the main topic.
I watched the entire run of the “Justice League” cartoon and also JLU as well. Loved this animated series and felt they did an amazing job with the characters, stories and everything. It really made me return each week to see what my heroic friends were up to and see what disaster they could avert for the week. I play several clips, some music and talk about each character and a few episodes too. I also give you some behind the scenes info and name off some of the great actors that worked on the shows. I’m glad we also continue to get JLA and DC comics direct to DVD movies too and talk a little bit about those. Hope everyone enjoys my coverage of this great animated content. I wrap up the podcast with a quick look at my DC Direct animated JL statues. I have most of them in the series and they are very cool. You can find some pictures of them HERE. I think they did a great job and really capture the look of the characters on the series. That’s about it for this week.
