The podcast this week covers the fifth season TNG episode called “A Matter of Time.” I start the show with some general news and then quickly move on to Trek talk too. Some new pics have surfaced from the Trek movie set of Spock (Zachary Quinto) in an EV type of suit. Looks pretty cool to me. I also touch on some other movie talk and how much I’m looking forward to seeing “The Avengers” movie in just two weeks! Can’t wait for that one! Then I move on to the Trek episode for this week.
This episode of TNG is a fun little tale of time travel along with the Enterprise trying to help a planet survive some disasters they are having. Guest star Matt Frewer (Max Headroom) plays the main guest character of Rasmussen and is tricky to figure out for the crew. He claims to be a time traveler from the future, but a few of the crew are a bit suspicious of him. Frewer does a great job here and this is a cool episode to watch once again and talk about with all of you. We also have some comments from Rick Moyer on this episode and some cool new music he is working on to listen to.
I round out the podcast with a short review of my new Bishoujo Batgirl Statue that I got off eBay from Toynk made by Kotobukiya. This is a variant piece of the statue they first did in her purple outfit. It’s about 7-8 inches high and nicely detailed and painted. This version is in black and I think it’s very cool. They are still pretty easy to find around online if you want to pick one up. There are other comic characters that they have done in this Bishoujo style you can find too. That’s about it for this time folks.
