This weekend I do a more casual type of podcast talking about several geeky subjects, including the recent Motor City Comic Con (2012) that I attended last weekend. First off I cover some recent genre season finales that I briefly discuss and have enjoyed watching. Both “Once Upon a Time” and “Fringe” ended with great episodes and left me wanting more for the coming new seasons. Then I branch off and talk about some Trek news including the new movie that is now less than one year away from release. They have wrapped filming for the most part and I’m excited to get some official news about the name of the film and more details on the story and guest actors. Then I get to talking about the Comic Con event I went to last weekend on May 19th in Novi, Michigan. It was fun, but I didn’t grab any video this time. But I did get some pictures that are now up on my Flickr page to take a look at. I also play some audio of a couple interviews by the Gorgeous Geeks team. Thanks to them for that. After finishing the con talk I run down a listing of upcoming summer conventions for all of you to attend this summer – hopefully with one in your area too. I finish up this week’s podcast with a brief review of the “Battleship” movie – now playing in theaters everywhere. So I hope you enjoyed this week’s podcast.
