Podcast # 486 – “Kir’Shara” – 1405.04

This week is back with a classic style cast with a look at the 4th season Enterprise episode called “Kir’Shara.”  But to start, I talk a little about “Star Wars” and the big May the 4th celebration today.  There’s been some recent news about the EU books (now dubbed ‘Legends’) and also about what is canon in the SW universe and what isn’t.  As far as the casting of Episode 7 we now know officially that all the original stars will be back (except Billy Dee Willians as Lando it seems).  I like the fact that they seem to cast mostly unknowns for the other roles.  It looks like we should start getting semi-regular news about this next chapter in the ‘Star Wars’ continuing saga.  Then on move on to this week’s Trek episode.

The Enterprise episode “Kir’Shara” is actually the second part to a two-part story during season 4 of the series.  It involves Archer trying to get an object called the Kir’Shara to some Vulcans that contains the writings of Surak.  There is also the possible war brewing between the Vulcans and the Andorians too.  There is a lot going on in this episode and I really enjoyed watching it and commenting on it as I watched it once more.  Hope you like it too.

That’s about all for this week.  Next week Rick Moyer and Sebastian Prooth will be here to discuss Sebastian’s “Continuing Mission” project he recently revived.  I will return in two weeks with a video report from the Motor City Comic Con.  Until then take care and enjoy your week ahead.
