This week our Sci-Fi movie buff Mark is back with a look at one of the original doomsday movie classics – “When Worlds Collide” from 1951. Here are some words from Mark about this disaster movie classic!
Hello Everybody!
This is Mark Daniels from the Great Pacific Northwest. I’m back this week with the Grandaddy of all doomsday movies. Before there was “Armageddon” and “Deep Impact”, there was “When Worlds Collide” from 1951. It stars Richard Derr, Barbara Rush, Peter Hansen and John Hoyt. This movie is one of the best science fiction movies of the 1950s. I hope you all enjoy it.
Everyone take care…
This is M-5 signing off.
Big thanks again to Mark for covering another true classic from the early years of Sci-Fi films. I love these movies and Mark does a great job each time he covers one. Next week I will be back with a look at the DS9 episode, “Destiny.” Also, please check out my Patreon funding page and if you can make a small donation it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for listening and talk to you all again soon.
