I continue this week with a classic TOS episode from season three called “Wink of an Eye.” First up, I cover all the summer TV watching I’ve been doing this year. Some shows have ended their run forever and some were brand new. There was really a nice mix of geeky TV to enjoy the last few months as we head into the new fall TV season. We also have a report on the Wizard World Columbus Comic Con by Will and also an audio comment by Jedi Jeff too this week. Thanks guys for sending those in for the show.
The third season episode “Wink of an Eye” is not the best of Trek but it has some fun moments in it. Kirk gets involved with another alien girl, but actually she’s more interested in him than he is in her – for a change. I like the concept of this one with the accelerated Scalosians and their condition makes for an interesting “bottle show” set mainly aboard the Enterprise. I play several clips and comment about this episode as I discuss it for the podcast.
