The recent mega-huge San Diego Comic Con was a huge hit and success.  There was tons of coverage online too for those of us who couldn’t attend the show.  I still really need to get out there one year for the spectacle that this con has become.  Below you will find a small group of pics from the show.  You can find tons more online on our forum thread HERE, also on Flickr and of course video clips on Youtube.  Make sure to scout out and look at all these sources.  There is a ton of cool stuff to watch.  Enjoy the Comic Con celebration!

The seventh book in the Harry Potter series is now coming in a two-part set of films.  The first film for the “Deathly Hollows” will be out this fall in November.  And the epic last part will come out next summer in 2011.  I love all the Potter books and films and this last set of movies looks amazing.  Here is a great, full trailer for the films coming soon than you think.  Wicked!

A very cool website has created a virtual Sci-Fi vehicle Air Show online.  Classic ships from various series are shown as they would be seen if there was a real air show for spaceships.  The images are very cool and makes me want to see something for real like this one day.  A few samples below and click HERE to see many more great pictures of this virtual show.

A new film for fans of “Star Wars” is now out.  “Jedi Junkies” is a film about real men and women who have dedicated their personal and sometimes professional lives to “Star Wars.”  This film is directed by Mark Edlitz and also features “Attack of the Show” star Olivia Munn.  It’s a fun and affectionate look at how some fans admiration of this space saga can go well beyond the normal love for a set of movies.  Check out the preview below and then go over to iTunes and download your copy today!  You can also find the Facebook page of New Video Digital to interact with the distributors of this cool film.

Finally, a trailer is up for this summer, comic book film starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox.  I’ve not had chance to read the comic ever, but it looks like a cool film.  I’ve always enjoyed westerns and it will be good to see one with some fun action, romance and what looks like a nasty bad guy.  Check out the brand new trailer and I’ll see you in July at the theaters when this one comes out.  Looking forward to it!

This movie based on a short, 8-issue comic series is coming out on April 16th.  It looks amazing and the comic book creator and makers of the film were able to keep it true to the original vision.  It definitely is violent and has some language in it, but again that’s part of what the comic was all about.  It’s basically a story about an average guy (and some others) who put on costumes and decide to fight crime and play superhero.  I’m a big comic book fan and I’m really looking forward to seeing this movie.  Can’t wait!  See one of the trailers below.

This just keeps getting better.  I really enjoyed the first film with Robert Downey Jr. in the title role.  This one coming out in early May, 2010 looks like more fun and more excitement for the guy in the red armor suit.  Cool new guest cast and returning favorites make this an automatic hit!  Can’t wait!  Watch the brand new trailer now, below….

The hit TV series “Lost” returns with it’s final season this week and I’ll be definitely watching.  The show has had it’s ups and downs for me, but I loved last season and this season really looks amazing.  I’m hoping we will get some answers to the island and things we have seen over the years, but I suspect not everything will be completely settled by the end of it all.  Here is a quick preview look at the final season.  Be slightly warned, this preview trailer contains some footage from this season and may be slightly spoilerish – but I think it just will whet your appetite for things to come.  Enjoy!
