There is an amazing fan film (I hate to even call it that) called:  “The Hunt for Gollum.” It’s a fan made production that is a prequel to the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.  It is simply amazing and incredible what the people doing this movie have done with only $5000 and a lot of work and ingenuity.  Hollywood needs to hire them – now!  you can learn all about it and watch it ath their website, “The Hunt for Gollum.” Watch the hi-def version – it’s beautiful!  Go see it now!

My latest Sci-Fi & Fantasy Babes music video.  These are taken from my daily picture blog here and features babes #100 – #200.  This is always fun to put together and share.  I hope you enjoy it and send me your suggestions for babes I may not have included on the blog as of yet.

Filming is going on right now for the next “Iron Man” film.  Most of the original cast is back and especially Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man.  Above you will see one of the first images from the new film of Tony in his lab.  If you click the image it will taker to a much higher resolution image.  I really enjoyed the first film in this series, even though I was never a big follower of the comic.  The movie isn’t due until May 7th, 2010, but I’m sure the wait will be worth it.

This is a lot of fun.  A take off on the “Girl Fight” theme, but this time the two ladies go at it with lightsabers in a bar while a guy enjoys a beer and the show.  Very clever and very funny.  A new classic video than I’m sure many will enjoy.  Gets a tiny bit risque, but nothing too far – in my opinion.  Enjoy!

There is a new clip from the upcoming “Wolverine” film (now only two weeks away).  After the craziness of the whole “leaked movie” thing from a week or so ago, it’s nice things are getting settled back down.  I really hope this movie does well, because I’m a huge fan of Wolvie and the whole X-Men series of comics and so on.  The clip at the link HERE shows a bit more of Wolverine dealing with that helicopter you see in the trailers.  And don’t worry, this is an ‘officially released’ clip from the movie.

A cool new poster for the upcoming fourth Terminator Salvation movie has shown up online.  This shows us John Connor as well as his one of his main adversaries in the film (along with a endoskull).  This movie is looking pretty sweet and it will be good to finally see this future era of the terminator franchise timeline.  The film opens on May 21st and you can learn more about it HERE.

What looks like another very fun spoof of Sci-Fi films of the 1950’s when aliens of all types wanted to invade the Earth, now comes “Alien Trespass.”  This movie looks hilarious and is a must see for me.  Limited showings start in early April.  Check their web site HERE for more info.  Watch the fun trailer below featuring lots of stars you will recognize.

“Battlestar Galactica” ends it’s run tonight with a 2hr. and 11 min. finale.  After four amazing seasons the old girl is ending her ride through the galaxy.  This was truly one of the best Sci-Fi TV series – ever.  Right up there with “Star Trek”, “Farscape” and “Stargate” – for me at least.  The acting, stories, look, effects, – every frakking thing on this show has been so amazing it’s going to be very hard to top – or replace.  My geek hat is off to everyone involved with this superb series!  Great job!   “SO SAY WE ALL!”
