Podcast # 286 – Autumn Rain Trilogy – 1007.04

For this 4th of July edition of the podcast I have a special treat for all of you.  Last weekend I recorded a Skype call where I interviewed and just generally chatted with Sci-Fi author David J. Williams.  He has written a great set of books set in the near future of about a hundred years from now called the Autumn Rain Trilogy.  Dave was kind enough to send me the first two books in the series and I’m really enjoying them so far.  We talked for about an hour about his books, his ideas and what we thing the near future might hold in store for us.  Dave was really easy to talk to and very forth coming about his process and how he decided on some of the ideas and themes in his books.  I know all of you will enjoy hearing what he has to say and hopefully be excited enough to head over to Amazon.com or your other source for books and at least grab up the first novel in the trilogy called, “The Mirrored Heavens.” There is a lot of action in these books and some very cool moments.  In fact I think they might make a great set of movies and we touch upon that during our discussion.  So, I hope you enjoy this special podcast and also enjoy your 4th of July for those in the US listening.  Take care and I’ll talk to you next weekend on the podcast when I will be covering “Star Trek” Sidekick characters.  Bye for now!
