A new Trek fan film series is coming called, “Red Shirts.” It’s set in the classic TOS universe and seems to tell the tale of those unlucky “red shirted” crewmen that seemed to die on every landing party with Kirk back in the early days of Trek. They are using crowd funding site indiegogo.com to raise funds to help finance the remainder of the planned 10-episode season.
