It seems like the time has flown by, but a little TV show called “Star Trek” just celebrated it 42nd birthday on September 8th. Way back in 1966 the first episode aired for a weird, Sci-Fi series that would go on to have several spin-off shows, many films, books, music, etc. and spawn a franchise that has become the stuff of legends. I know my life would be a lot different without “Star Trek.” I have been given so much fun and thought provoking entertainment over the years it’s hard to even think about it all. Even better I have had the chance to meet some very interesting people and become good friends with many of them. So thanks “Star Trek” and Gene for making my life richer because of you! May you live long and prosper even more!
