William Shatner has started a new little video web set and in one of the first posts he responds directly to the question of why he isn’t going to be in the new “Trek” movie. He states pretty clearly that no one actually offered him a role. But he also says that if it was only going to be a cameo he probably wouldn’t have done it. However, he also tells JJ directly in this interview that he would still love to possibly be in another future “Trek” film. So this should put to rest finally of why “the Shat” isn’t in the new film.
