The cast of the new Trek film and JJ Abrams paid a visit recently to entertain the troops in Kuwait by showing them their new movie and spending some time with them. Most of the cast was there along with JJ and producer Bryan Burke. For years, entertainers have done this sort of thing to help keep the spirits up of those serving their country overseas. No matter what you think of the current military action going in the middle east, I think it’s a great thing for JJ and his cast to do. This isn’t something they had to do and it’s probably not going to impact how well the movie does. But it is a very nice and a very human thing to do – as Mr. Spock would say.
