Podcast # 798 – Mega Disney – 2012.13

This week I mainly focus on going over the recent Disney announcements for new series coming to Disney+ along with feature film talk and announcements. I also cover some of the recent stuff going on in Trek and “The Mandalorian” show too.

A few days ago at the Disney investor meeting a HUGE amount of upcoming content was announced. Many new Marvel series, films and projects are coming as well as many new “Star Wars” related content too. So, much it’s going to be hard to keep up with it all. Of course, this all will be spread out over the next few years but it is exciting. I break it down and play some of the announcement stuff too right from the folks directly working on all this.

Podcast # 797 – “Alien” Rerun – 2012.06

This week we go into the TSF DeLorean time machine and rerun a great show from 2012. It’s all about the first “Alien” movie and it’s hosted by Bryan and Al Kessel. I love the “Alien” franchise and the first movie is such an iconic film that I thought it would be fun to revisit this show. Thanks again guys for doing this back in the day.

Next week I’ll be back with a show covering some of the recent TV & movies I’ve been watching and some collectible talk too. Until next time stay safe out there, wear your masks, and enjoy your week.

Hello Everybody!

This is Mark Daniels from the Great Pacific Northwest.  I’m back this week with another classic science fiction movie.  Today’s movie is  a cult classic from the UK.  It’s the “Village of the Damned”, starring George Sanders and Barbara Shelley.  This movie is classic science fiction at its best.  This is a must see movie for every science fiction movie fan.  If you haven’t seen, go out and buy it.  You won’t be disappointed!  I’ll be back soon with another classic science fiction movie. Until then…Everyone take care and stay healthy! This is M-5 signing off…

Thanks again Mark for another cool movie review. Next week I’ll be back here with a Skype chat with TSF PATREON supporters. Until then, Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends and stay safe everyone!

Podcast # 794 – Saturday Morning Shows – 2011.15

This week I talk about the old days when Saturday mornings brought new TV for kids of all ages to enjoy. First up I discuss a bit about what I’ve been watching and enjoying on TV lately over the last few weeks. Still no movies on the horizon coming to theaters – which makes me sad. Then it’s on to the main topic.

I’m old enough to recall the days when Saturdays brought all kinds of cool new shows to watch. Shows like the “Dungeons & Dragons” cartoon, Spider-Man, Superman, and some live action shows as well. Mainly I cover things from the 70’s and 80’s but a little later than that. Hope you enjoy this nostalgia fueled romp through the past.

That’s about it for this week. Next week should bring a guest cast. Until next time wear your masks and stay safe out there.

Vidcast # 793 – Halloween – 2011.01

A short audio snippet on the audio podcast feed directing you over to the fairly short Halloween 2020 vidcast for this year. I recorded some of the people coming by last night for Halloween and you can see it down below. Hope you enjoy it and I’ll be back next weekend with a more “normal” and typical show.

Podcast # 792 – Grab Bag – 2010.25

This week due to some home repair stuff, I’m not doing my normal Halloween vidcast as planned (more on that later). I do kind of a grab bag show covering some recent stuff I’ve been watching, including DISCO season 3, episode 2. Getting ready for a little different Halloween and more. A shorter than normal show this week, but hope you still listen in an enjoy it. I will be doing a special vidcast next week with some video from Halloween night at my home and in my neighborhood so look for that next weekend. Until then, stay safe and enjoy your Halloween!

Podcast # 791 – New Treks – 2010.18

This week I cover a lot of recent Trek ground. First up, I do my usual rundown of what I’ve been watching recently – including a rare show I quit on after seeing 1.5 episodes of it. Then I move on to talking Trek.

My main topic is a quick look at the last 3-4 episodes of season one of “Lower Decks” which is the recent Trek animated series. Some possible spoilers if you aren’t caught up on the show (and also DISCO later on). I really grew to like this series more and more over the season and I talk about the last few episodes and especially the wonderful season 1 finale. Lower Decks will be back for a season 2!

Next, I cover episode one of season three of Discovery. I thought the season got off to a great start and I’m really looking forward to where the show goes now. It’s a different type of episode and I liked it a lot. Great new main cast character too has been added. Can’t wait to see more.

That’s about it for this week. Next week will be my annual Halloween vidcast episode. Looking forward to doing that and hope you all are getting excited for Halloween too! Until next time, take care and stay safe.
