John Harrison Viral Videos for upcoming film

A cool, new set of viral videos have popped up featuring the villain (John Harrison) from the upcoming “Star Trek Into Darkness” movie talking about his adversary, Captain James T. Kirk as well as other members of the Enterprise.  I think is really interesting in how it shows clips from the film but also talks a little about the characters too.  Great marketing idea I think.  Take a look below and see what you think.

Final “Star Trek Into Darkness” trailer has arrived

A final, and amazing “Star Trek Into Darkness” trailer has now arrived.  A lot of information is in this trailer, lots of new footage, music and plenty of cool details.  I couldn’t more geeked or excited for this movie.  Only about a month away now – at least for those of us in the US.  Check it out!

“Star Trek Into Darkness” – Domestic Poster

A pretty cool domestic one-sheet movie poster has arrived for May’s, “Star Trek Into Darkness” film.  It pictures the Enterprise falling from orbit and in pretty bad shape.  I still strongly feel the old girl won’t be destroyed in this movie, but she certainly will need some repairs and TLC from Scotty after this adventure.  See the poster below and click HERE for a very hires version of it.

Shatner fights the Gorn – again!

As a promotion for the upcoming new “Star Trek” game, William Shatner has dived in to fight his nemesis the Gorn again (as first seen in the classic TOS episode, “Arena”).  This is really a great video and shows “The Shat” still has a great sense of humor and love for Trek still after all these many years.  Check out the video below and enjoy the upcoming game to be released on April 23rd.

“Into Darkness” International Trailer

A brand new, international trailer was released this past Thursday for the “Star Trek Into Darkness” film.  This trailer probably is the biggest, and most revealing trailer so far for the upcoming film.  We learn a bit more about the villain and see a good amount of new footage and scenes not shown before in other trailer spots.  Less than two months to go now folks and I’m more excited than ever!  Below is the Bad Robot slightly tweaked version of this brand new trailer.  Enjoy!

LEGO my Trailer!

A very cool, Lego version of the “Star Trek Into Darkness” trailer has appeared online.  Made by Antonio and Andrea Toscano, they do a great job capturing the whole trailer with Lego’s.  A lot of time must have gone int this cool little film – and it shows.  So take a look and enjoy – LEGO TREK!

“Voyage Trekkers” – Season Two

Season two of the very funny web, fan series called “Voyage Trekkers” is getting started.  This is in the vein of the “Galaxy Quest” film and pokes fun and some familiar Trek like elements.  Here’s a bit more on the upcoming season two from the source along with a trailer too.

Creator Nathan Blackwell and Executive Producer Tray Goodman bring Voyage Trekkers back for a second season.

March 14th, 2013, Phoenix, Arizona:  Voyage Trekkers, the hilarious sci-fi comedy web series about the worst crew in the galaxy, returns for a second season on May 1st.  Voyage Trekkers is a scripted series of 10 weekly episodes.

“We’ve really raised the bar for season two, both with the production and storytelling,” says Creator Nathan Blackwell.  “We doubled the amount of production days, built a starship set, and we’re telling much larger stories.  We really wanted to blow people’s socks off!”

Voyage Trekkers follows the crew of the GSV Remarkable, the worst starship in the Galactic Union, as they strive to make a name for themselves at the bottom of the space adventure barrel.  You can connect with Voyage Trekkers on FacebookTwitterYouTube, BlipTumblrGoogle+, and at voyagetrekkers.com.

“The show is our comedic love letter to the sci-fi genre,” says Blackwell.  “We’ve all watched “the best of the best” crews save the galaxy time and again, but I wanted to make a show about the idiots who absolutely sucked at what they did.  Sort of like “It’s Always Sunny … In Space.”

Fan Trek Parody, “Red Shirts” – first trailer

A new Trek fan film series is coming called, “Red Shirts.”  It’s set in the classic TOS universe and seems to tell the tale of those unlucky “red shirted” crewmen that seemed to die on every landing party with Kirk back in the early days of Trek.  They are using crowd funding site indiegogo.com to raise funds to help finance the remainder of the planned 10-episode season.  Check out their funding page, and you can also find them on Facebook HERE.  Also, enjoy the short trailer below from this upcoming fun fan series.
