A fan based film series has now gone animated with the continuing adventures of the Starship Farragut and her crew. While they used to do live action fan films, they now have moved to animation in the style of the old 1970’s era Trek cartoon by Filmation. Done in the same style, with similar music and overall look, it’s fun to see this type of animation again – especially in the days of CGI. The animation style reminds me a little “the masters of the universe”. Well done.
I have all the original ones on VHS. They are so much fun to watch!
I have a set of the Animated ST series. I agree that they are fun to watch. I also enjoy the fan movies retro style. They are true tributes. I also would like to point out that animated heros dont age, they can continue their adventures forever.
