This is some great footage a fan transferred for everyone to see and put it up on Youtube. It shows all of the main cast of the original Trek at a very early convention appearance in Chicago in 1975. Rare footage like this is hard to come by and a real treat to see for long time fans like myself. I actually went to my first Trek con back in 1976, not very long after this footage was taken – ahh, the memories of those days. Back then there was no internet to share things like this with everyone else. Well, just enjoy the footage.

Memories did flood back to me on the cons those many years ago.I was one of several fans that organized the 1st trek con in atlanta ga in 1974.at the sherdin biltmore.3 glorious days of trek fun.I’m still looking for the newsarticle write up on our 1st con.when I find it will forward it to you.keep those memories close to your heart.again my prayers are with you and your family
